Dave Meeker is a distinguished leader in innovation, design, and emerging technology, currently serving as Head of AI Innovation at Monks. With over 25 years of experience, he has consistently pushed the boundaries of what’s possible at the intersection of technology, design, and business, helping global organizations adapt, innovate, and thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Dave is passionate about the potential of AI to transform businesses and improve lives. He brings a unique blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to every project, always seeking to deliver solutions that are both innovative and impactful.

Before joining Monks, Dave held dual executive roles at Merkle and Dentsu Creative. At Merkle, he served as EVP, Practice Lead for Emerging Experiences, where he helped to kickstart the organization’s AI-driven capabilities and strategies to transform customer experiences. 

Simultaneously, as EVP, Head of Design & Innovation for Dentsu Creative in the Americas, he led teams in delivering transformative digital solutions. Previously, Dave served as Global Chief Innovation Officer for Dentsu Creative and Isobar, where he defined global innovation strategies, led research and development initiatives, and cultivated high-impact partnerships, including a longstanding collaboration with the MIT Media Lab.

During nearly two decades at Dentsu and Isobar, Dave spearheaded groundbreaking innovation initiatives for clients such as Cisco, Google, HBO, Enterprise Holdings, Intel, Viacom, and General Motors. His expertise spans product and service design, generative AI, mixed reality, blockchain, machine learning, and other emerging technologies, with a focus on helping businesses address complex challenges and embrace future-forward solutions. He has also played a critical role in forming partnerships with leading technology companies, including Adobe, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Unity, ensuring that clients stay ahead of industry trends.

Dave’s visionary leadership has earned recognition with multiple Cannes Lions, including a Grand Prix in Digital Craft for his collaboration with William Patrick Corigan on Aeronaut, as well as Clio Music Awards, Ad Age Project Isaac Awards, and Webby Awards. He has been profiled in Campaign Magazine’s “40 Over 40” and Fast Company. Earlier in his career, Dave was managing partner at Effective, one of the industry’s first technology-driven experience design firms, which was later acquired by WPP Group. He also expanded Isobar’s NowLab initiative globally, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across markets.

On a personal note, Dave is a dedicated husband of 15 years and a proud father of three. Outside of work, he expresses his creativity as an artist and musician.
