David Brown got his introduction to the industry when he joined Marketing Magazine in 2005. As news editor, he had a front-row seat to observe the digital transformation of marketing, media and advertising. After a brief period as a freelancers both covering the Canadian ad market and working with agencies and marketers, David co-launched The Message in 2019, a challenger brand in the space which quickly developed a strong and dedicated following, and was eventually acquired by Campaign.
